Fall Song Challenge is a challenge I started back in 2017, to challenge myself to write a song in a different genre. The first year I wrote a hip hop track, the second year a metal EP, and this year I was inspired by 80's new wave. Each year, I've encouraged fans and friends of the channel to work on a song or songs during the fall. Coupled with the 424 Discord, this year's Fall Song Challenge exploded into the biggest thus far. I could not believe the level of participation, creativity, and quality of tracks and songs people wrote and recorded and it seemed like documenting this collective energy as a compilation was a natural extension of everyone's hard work. On behalf of everyone, I hope you enjoy what we've created for Fall Song Challenge 2019. Fun fact: the rusty red color of the letters and leaf reminded me of In Utero, so I took the paint dropper tool in PS and paint bucketed the background color to match.
